Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of New Hampshire invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the assistant professor level. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute research expertise in the general area of computer engineering. Preference will be given to candidates with experience related to interactions between humans and the cyber-physical world; this includes topics in biomedical engineering, human-machine interaction, and human factors. In addition to the research activities, the successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the teaching of computer and electrical engineering courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Candidates with outstanding credentials and demonstrated expertise in areas that complement the research efforts of the UNH ECE faculty will be considered. A Ph.D. in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or in a related field, is required. Preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrated the ability to teach a variety of ECE courses including laboratories. A commitment to sustaining and advancing the goals of the institution’s diversity of students, faculty, and staff is required.
