Work description

The candidate will support the management of the marine area laboratory infrastructure at INESC TEC, collaborating in the maintenance, repair, and technical support of equipment, as well as in the design and manufacturing of new mechanical components.

They will work under the guidance of more experienced technicians and will be involved in optimising the machining process of parts for robots across different platforms.

Academic Qualifications

  • The candidate must have at least a secondary school (12th year) education.

Minimum profile required

  • Professional experience with automated systems, robotic manufacturing cells, and computer-assisted centralised industrial process control systems.

Preference factors

  • Technical-Vocational Course, preferably in the areas of electrical engineering, industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or similar.
  • A minimum of 1 to 3 years of professional experience in technical roles related to maintenance or electromechanics.
  • Internships in relevant environments are valued.

Maintenance stipend: € 651.12, according to the table of monthly maintenance stipend for FCT grants , paid via bank transfer. Grant holders may be awarded potential supplements, according to a quarterly evaluation process (Articles 19, 21 and 22 of the Regulations for Grants of INESC TEC and Annex II), up to a maximum limit of 50% of the monthly maintenance stipend.

INESC TEC supports costs with registration, enrolment or tuition fees, during the grant duration, under the terms established in the internal document: "Payment of Tuition fees to grant holders".

The grant holder will benefit from health insurance, supported by INESC TEC.
