The Water-Energy Nexus Group is looking for PhD students (for 2020 Fall or 2021 Spring) in the area of water treatments at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

The areas include various water treatments particularly with heavy metal ions, PFAS, pharmaceuticals/POPs/bacteria/metal ions removal in drinking water/wastewater and/or self-cleaning coatings using polymer based adsorbents and membranes.
