The Department of Aeronautical Science at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, Arizona invites applications for two (2) non-tenure track faculty positions at the rank of Instructor of Aeronautical Science to begin in the Fall 2019 semester. Teaching assignments include airplane ground schools at the private, instrument, and commercial pilot levels.The normal teaching load corresponds to five 3-credit hour courses per semester. When not teaching class, instructors maintain regular office hours for student support and faculty collaboration. The instructors will actively plan, design, and implement techniques and materials for course improvement and student support. Candidates must demonstrate a love for learning in order to inspire students who are lifelong learners. The Prescott campus is a small residential campus in the mountains of northern Arizona. Prescott is one of the highest-rated residential areas in the Southwest. It is located at over 5,000 feet elevation, has a mild climate, clean air, and is close to outdoor recreation, pristine wilderness areas and national forests.
