The Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering (www.me.gatech.edu) at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position within the Nuclear and Radiological and Medical Physics program. Applicants will be considered at all ranks. Applications will be entertained in any of the School's research areas with an emphasis on interdisciplinary activities in Nuclear Engineering, (1) Advancing accelerators for medicine and security, and (2) Small Modular and Battery Reactors for climate change mitigation and space exploration. Those applying for Associate and Full Professor positions should have established records in research that demonstrate nationally and internationally recognized expertise. Industrial experience is desirable, but not required. Candidates are expected to demonstrate an exceptional commitment to the teaching and mentoring of students.
