Visiting Assistant Professor, Chemical Engineering
The Department of Chemical Engineering seeks applications for a non-tenure track faculty position. This is a one year appointment for the 2018-2019 academic year and is not renewable. The primary responsibilities include teaching 12 contact hours (four course sections) per semester.

Duties and Responsibilities
Teaching undergraduate lecture and laboratory classes and graduate lecture classes. Duties will vary with the specific courses being taught.
The ideal candidate will be ready/willing to teach courses such as, Heat Transfer Operations, Unit Operations Lab, Biomaterials, Thermodynamics, and/or Technical Communications.
An earned doctorate in Chemical Engineering or a closely allied discipline is required. The applicant must be committed to excellence in engineering education.
Previous teaching experience is strongly preferred.
