The Institute of Unconventional Oil and Gas at Northeast Petroleum University (NEPU) invites applications for a fully funded PhD position in Petroleum Engineering, Geology, or Geophysics.
Research Focus
The successful candidate will work within a multidisciplinary research team to explore enhanced recovery methods, reservoir characterization, and advanced reservoir studies aimed at increasing hydrocarbon recovery from unconventional formations. Research areas may include:
- Enhanced oil and gas recovery techniques
- Reservoir modeling and simulation
- Unconventional reservoir characterization
- Advanced data analytics for reservoir studies
