Ph.D. Position in Flexible Sensors
NanoScience Technology Center
Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering
University of Central Florida
Research Description
The Functional Materials and Devices Laboratory at the University of Central Florida (UCF) has two Ph.D. positions available in Fall 2022, Spring 2023 or Fall 2023. The Ph.D. students will be fully funded through a Fellowship or Graduate Research Assistantship (GRA). The research focus of this lab is to develop nano/micro-sensors based on flexible and smart materials. Example research thrust areas include: (1) biomimetic devices for physiological interfacing; (2) wearable electronics for biosensing and drug delivery; (3) embedded sensors for structural health monitoring; and (4) biosensors for agricultural and environmental monitoring.
