Support and management of hospital partnerships and data collection in the area of neurological diseases
Work description
The Biomedical Engineering Research Center (C-BER) at INESC TEC has been creating partnerships with several hospitals to develop research lines in the neurological area, collecting data that is extremely important for the group's scientific advances in the diagnosis and monitoring of neurological diseases.
This scholarship aims for the candidate to be included in a work team and support the relationship with hospitals and data collection and management.
Academic Qualifications
- Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering or similar areas.
Minimum profile required
- Familiarity with the clinical environment.
- Previous experience and ease of use of medical technology, as well as laboratory prototypes.
- Some knowledge of signal processing techniques in the area of neuroengineering and its challenges.
Preference factors
- Previous participation in data collection in a clinical environment and its management.
- Willingness to continue work on a master's thesis.
Maintenance stipend: € 1040,98, according to the table of monthly maintenance stipend for FCT grants , paid via bank transfer. Grant holders may be awarded potential supplements, according to a quarterly evaluation process (Articles 19, 21 and 22 of the Regulations for Grants of INESC TEC and Annex II), up to a maximum limit of 50% of the monthly maintenance stipend.
INESC TEC supports costs with registration, enrolment or tuition fees, during the grant duration, under the terms established in the internal document: "Payment of Tuition fees to grant holders".
The grant holder will benefit from health insurance, supported by INESC TEC.
