Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
The College of Engineering is seeking to fill one non-tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level starting Spring 2021. Duties include the following:
Develop and conduct a vigorous, externally funded research program
Teach graduate level courses
Supervise Master and undergraduate student research
Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualifications
BS in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering is required
Must have a Ph.D. in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline
Experience in Aerodynamics (experimental and computational), and flight vehicle design
At least two years’ experience in related research fields
Experience with instrumentation and equipment relevant to area of expertise
Significant record of scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals is required
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
Must have working computer knowledge and experience

Commensurate with education, training and experience: Salary contingent upon outside funding.
