Stevens Institute of Technology, a premier private research university located in Hoboken, New Jersey, invites applications for the position of Adjunct in Electrical and Computer Engineering. This part-time role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a world class institution known for innovative teaching and research, overlooking the iconic Manhattan skyline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Academic Department Chair to develop and manage course materials, including syllabi.
  • Coordinate courseware and curriculum to align with departmental standards and objectives.
  • Deliver engaging and effective instruction in the designated subject area.
  • Assess and evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback and support for academic success.
  • Ensure a dynamic and interactive learning environment that fosters intellectual growth.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree with a preference for candidates holding a Master's or Ph.D. in the field of expertise.
  • Proven experience in teaching or industry practice within the relevant subject area.
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for student success.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within an academic team and contribute to the educational mission of the university.
