Work description

  • Definition of requirements to enable the participation of B2B and B2C clients in the aggregation case study, as well as flexible resources.
  • Storage of data used by the EMS tool in a database.
  • Develop algorithms to produce graphical results of case study simulations with data from living lab clients.
  • Analyze optimized operation data from flexible resources (batteries, photovoltaic generation and heat pumps) with a view to calculating performance indicators defined in the project.
  • Reports with case study simulations with data from living lab clients.
  • Write the exchange activity report.

 

Academic Qualifications

  • Electrical engineering, computer engineering or related field.

 

Minimum profile required

  • Student of electrical engineering or computer science or related fields.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Knowledge of Python, databases, REST API.
  • Knowledge of energy systems and optimization.

 

Preference factors

  • Knowledge of batteries and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of databases.
  • Knowledge of electrical system operation.
  • Knowledge of electrical system planning.

 

Maintenance stipend: € 1040.98 or 1309.64, according to the table of monthly maintenance stipend for FCT grants , paid via bank transfer. Grant holders may be awarded potential supplements, according to a quarterly evaluation process (Articles 19, 21 and 22 of the Regulations for Grants of INESC TEC and Annex II), up to a maximum limit of 50% of the monthly maintenance stipend.

INESC TEC supports costs with registration, enrollment or tuition fees, during the grant duration, under the terms established in the internal document: "Payment of Tuition fees to grant holders".

The grant holder will benefit from health insurance, supported by INESC TEC.
