The Professor of Practice (PoP) is a non-tenured full time academic year (nine month) teaching position (3,3 load) with a renewable 3-year appointment. It carries a competitive salary and benefits commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications. Faculty promoted to Senior PoP serve renewable 5-year terms. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in communications, signal processing, power systems, and embedded/computer systems. Applicants must possess a doctorate in electrical engineering or a related field and a commitment to excellence in teaching and mentorship. Postdoctoral or industry experience is preferred.
