Academic Qualifications
- Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics
Minimum profile required
a) Proven competence and experience in developing applications using C++, C, Fortran, and Python;
b) Experience in developing shared memory parallel applications using technologies like OpenMP, TBB, among others;
c) Experience in developing distributed memory parallel applications using MPI;
d) Experience using profilers for computational characterization of applications in shared and distributed memory environments, such as VTune, TAU, Perf, among others;
e) Knowledge of supercomputer architectures, including x86 and ARM processors, GPUs, and interconnection topologies;
f) Practical experience with Linux systems, HPC environments, and SLURM submission systems;
g) Proficiency in written and oral communication in both Portuguese and English.
Preference factors
h) Knowledge and experience with high-performance libraries such as FFTW, BLAS, LAPACK, Intel MKL;
i) Knowledge of optimization techniques for multicore architectures, hardware accelerators, and communication patterns;
j) Experience in GPU accelerator programming using tools like OpenCL, CUDA, OpenACC, among others;
k) Experience using scientific visualization tools like Paraview, Visit, YT;
l) Experience in writing technical and scientific documentation in HPC, demonstrated by active participation in conferences and workshops in the field.
