Tenured/Tenure-Track: Assistant/Associate Professor - Electronic Systems Engineering Technology

The Department of Engineering Technology and Industrial Distribution, College of Engineering at Texas A&M University invites applications for one full-time tenured or tenure-track position at the Assistant or Associate Professor levels with a 9-month academic appointment, and the possibility of an additional summer appointment contingent upon need and availability of funds, beginning fall 2026. The successful applicant will be required to teach at the graduate as well as undergraduate level; advise and mentor graduate students; develop an independent, externally funded research program; participate in all aspects of the department's activities; and serve the university, college, department, and profession.
Qualifications
Applicants must have an earned doctorate in an appropriate engineering field or a closely related engineering or science discipline. Preference will be given to candidates with recent and relevant industrial or national laboratory experience with applied research and technology development in one or more of the following areas: Semiconductor testing, Internet of Things for Industrial Application, applied AI/ML for engineering applications, technical management, Industry 4.0, Instrumentation/Metrology, and Network Communication/Industrial Cybersecurity.
