About the PhD and Master Positions
Multi PhD and Master positions are available in the School of Civil and Natural Resources Engineering at the University of Canterbury. The main supervisor of these positions is Dr. C. Wu, a Senior Lecturer in the school. The students will be working on research topics in the areas of seismic behaviors and design of structures, seismic assessment and strengthening of structures, structural health monitoring, fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) composites and structures, high performance fiber reinforced cementitious composites and structural applications, 3D printing materials and structures, durability related to advanced materials and structures.
Candidates should have an IELTS score no less than 6.5, and GPA 85% min (A+). Those with research experiences in the above mentioned areas are strongly encouraged to apply. It is expected the candidates have a degree in Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering (construction materials, composite materials, and etc.) or other relevant disciplines.
