The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Tufts University seeks a part-time lecturer to teach a course on Building Information Management (BIM) in Civil and Environmental Engineering. This course is designed for seniors and graduate students interested in structural, geotechnical, and construction engineering. BIM is for the generation and management of digital representations of physical and functional characteristics of civil infrastructure. It may cover building and/or bridge information modeling, scheduling, construction sequencing, and cost estimation using a combination of the following software: Navisworks, Revit, Civil 3D, 3ds Max, and Primavera.

Qualifications

The ideal Lecturer candidate will possess prior teaching experience, especially with undergraduate students, and have an engaging teaching style. The candidate must have a strong commitment to teaching and mentoring. Candidates must have at least a MS degree and have a track record of experience.
