The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Develop IoT prototype with efficient and lightweight machine learning algorithms

• Implement and test the applications using IoT prototypes.

• Publish several papers in top journals.

• Write proposals for further development.

• Mentor students

Job Requirements: 

• A Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

• Extensive experience in structural condition assessment.

• Excellent programming skills for one of the languages, such as C/C++, Python, and MATLAB.

• A good record of referred journal publications or conference presentations.

• Good oral and written communication skills in English.

• Previous experience in proposal writing is a plus.
