Work description
- Define the requirements for a software application capable of managing data from biometric sensors embedded in wearable textiles, used in neuromuscular rehabilitation.
- Manage data acquisition through the usage of Web services for storage of raw and processed datasets;
- Implement the software module and respective documentation;
- Perform usability and validation tests of the module;
- Write the grant activity report.
Academic Qualifications
Degree in Degree in Informatics and Computing Engineering or similar
Minimum profile required
- Proven experience with the Python 3+ programming language;
- Proved experience with Full-stack Web technologies;
- Degree average greater than or equal to 14 (scale from 0-20);
Preference factors
- Experience with the software delivery system, Docker;
- Experience with the TypesScript programming language;
- Experience with the FastAPI framework;
- Experience in collaborative environments where teamwork is a factor;
- Knowledge in Web security and the software solution Keycloak;
- Excellent performance in programming, software development course units
Maintenance stipend: € 601,12, according to the table of monthly maintenance stipend for FCT grants , paid via bank transfer. Grant holders may be awarded potential supplements, according to a quarterly evaluation process (Articles 19, 21 and 22 of the Regulations for Grants of INESC TEC and Annex II), up to a maximum limit of 50% of the monthly maintenance stipend.
INESC TEC supports costs with registration, enrolment or tuition fees, during the grant duration, under the terms established in the internal document: "Payment of Tuition fees to grant holders".
The grant holder will benefit from health insurance, supported by INESC TEC.
