Essential Functions:
We are seeking candidates suitable for the rank of Full Professor with a demonstrated record of outstanding leadership and mentorship. They should have interest and understanding of engineering education and the evolving market need for engineers and technologists. The director will be expected to build upon SAET's recognized strengths, recruit outstanding faculty, promote scholarly initiatives, facilitate internal and external research collaborations, maintain and further develop already strong relationships with industry, and oversee curriculum development. The person is expected to work effectively in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment both within the school and college, and across the broader campus to:

-Promote and support continued professional growth of faculty and staff and oversee recruitment of outstanding faculty and retention of faculty, staff, and students.

-Assessment and analytics for student success.
-Ethics and human-centered design in engineering education.
-Technology-enhanced curriculum development.

Prerequisite Qualifications:

-Demonstrated expertise and track record in engineering education and its application in higher education.
-Proven ability to secure external funding for academic projects, and lead teams of researchers in their successful implementation.
-Significant experience and commitment for teaching, which include:
*Familiarity with curriculum innovation and technology-enhanced learning environments.
*Experience with program accreditation and course-level assessment.
-Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, students, and administrators.
