The School of Engineering and Engineering Technology at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) invites applications for a nine-month tenure-track faculty position at the level of assistant professor in mechanical engineering (R0030889) beginning in Fall 2023. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.

Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:   Expertise in engineering software, such as Solidworks, Autocad, Ansys, Ansys Fluent; Experience in teaching engineering courses; Experience in teaching in a hybrid or on-line environment; Post-doctoral or industrial experience.
