Job Description
Summary
This position is for Auburn’s online Bachelor of Computer Science degree program. Under typical circumstances, the teaching load will be two 3-credit hour courses per 8-week online term (5 terms per year). This is a 9-month appointment with the expectation that the selected candidate will also teach during the summer term for additional compensation.

Minimum Qualifications
The minimum required qualification is a master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a closely related field from an ABET accredited institution at the time employment begins. Applicants with (or close to the completion of) an earned PhD and teaching and/or industrial experience will be desired. Excellent communication skills are required. Candidates selected for this position must be able to meet eligibility requirements to work in the United States at the time of appointment and continue working legally for the proposed term of employment.
Desired Qualifications
While not mandatory, a PhD, teaching experience and/or industrial experience will be valued in the review process.
