The Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at The University of Alabama is seeking candidates for a Postdoctoral Fellow under the direction of Dr. Jinhui Wang. This position is available to individuals with research interests in neuromorphic computing, IC design, embedded systems, or AI. Successful candidates will hold a terminal degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and demonstrate a record of academic achievement in research.

Initial appointments are for one year, with renewal contingent upon demonstration of research productivity.

Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. or other terminal degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Candidates will need to have completed their Ph.D. or have it completed by the start of employment. Skills and Knowledge: Experience with neuromorphic computing, IC design, embedded systems, or AI.


Preferred Qualifications: Record of publications in related top-tier journals or research conferences. Expertise in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
