We are looking for a passionate and self-motivated student to start during the Fall 2020 or Spring 2021 semester to work on the development of biphasic gas separation membranes. These membranes will be assessed for gas separation performance via molecular dynamics simulation studies on material confinement. The student will gain experience in membrane science, inorganic chemistry, and computational research. Further, the student will also gain training on the development of the design of experiment systems through the use of commercial software. Computational efforts will be focused on the development of molecular dynamics simulations through the use of LAMMPs software.
