    Job Description Summary


    The Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering (CSSE) invites applications for multiple tenure-track faculty positions. We seek candidates at the Assistant Professor level, although outstanding candidates at a senior level will also be considered. A Ph.D. degree in computer science, software engineering, or a closely related field must be completed at the time employment begins. Responsibilities include research, graduate student supervision, graduate and undergraduate teaching, and service. The application review process will begin December 1, 2022 and continue until successful candidates are identified. The successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements for work in the United States at the time the appointment is scheduled to begin and continue working legally for the term of employment.     Minimum Qualifications


    A Ph.D. degree in computer science, software engineering or a closely related field at the time employment begins. The successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements for work in the United States at the time the appointment is scheduled to begin and continue working legally for the term of employment.

    Desired Qualifications


    Applications from candidates with expertise in any area of computer science will be considered. However, our focus areas are Artificial Intelligence with emphasis on Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Natural Language Processing, Software Engineering, and Computer Security & Privacy. We welcome applications from women, couples, and those belonging to underrepresented groups in computer science.
