We seek a passionate and driven Project Officer to contribute to our cutting-edge cryo-EM studies of telomeric chromatin complexes. This opportunity is initially for one year, with the possibility of an extension based on performance and funding availability. You will have the opportunity to learn advanced techniques of cryo-EM sample preparation and data analysis. You will also be exposed to various characterization like EMSA, chromatography (size, affinity), NMR, Single-molecule studies, Mass spec, light scattering, and fluorescent).
Key Responsibilities:
Perform expression and purification of proteins in E. coli.
Conduct amplification and purification of telomeric DNA templates using established protocols.
Perform biochemical and biophysical assays, as well as telomeric chromatin sample preparation.
Assist in laboratory management and perform routine duties.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or related fields.
Diploma holders with a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience may also be considered.
Hands-on experience in biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, or structural biology.
Experience with protein expression in E. coli is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
