Expertise: My research interests are in exploration geoscience, petroleum geochemistry, basin modeling and geological emissions of methane (mud volcanoes, seeps). I study conventional as well as unconventional oil & gas resources (shale gas/oil, coal bed methane, gas hydrates). I enjoy working at the intersection of geology with other disciplines such as chemistry, microbiology, statistics, engineering, economics, psychology and behavioral sciences.
