The Department of Engineering Technology is seeking applicants to fill one non tenure-line positions in the Faculty of Instruction or Faculty of Practice lines, at the rank of Professor, Associate Professor or Assistant Professor to teach in the expanding online Master of Science program in Construction Management at Texas State University, and the new (pending approval by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges) online PhD in Construction Management. Both programs can be completed 100% online.
Applicants with expertise in all areas related to construction management are invited to apply, with particular consideration given to candidates with experience teaching in an online mode of delivery, and with research interests in construction management, construction engineering, or civil engineering.
This position is remote-work eligible.
The individuals selected for this position will be expected to teach masters and doctoral level courses, and some undergraduate courses, as departmental needs require. Other responsibilities include service to the department and the university, industry outreach, mentoring graduate students and general academic and career advising and assistance.
The selected candidates will be given the appropriate rank based on college and university standards and polices.
