Postdoctoral Position – Fluid-Structure Interaction
A postdoc position is available immediately in the Computational and Theoretical Multiphysics Lab (https://web1.eng.famu.fsu.edu/~kshoele/CTML) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Florida State University related to computational and experimental fluid-structure interaction (FSI) in turbulent flows.
The following skills/certifications/interests are relevant to the position:
- Creativity and interest in interdisciplinary research
- A PhD degree in engineering (especially mechanical, aero, or civil) or related fields (applied mathematics, computational physics).
- Relevant previous research experience in both CFD and flow experiments. Desirable research skills include FSI, turbulence, and data-driven techniques.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Track record of publications and scientific outputs and the ability to work independently.
